Yeah, I kind of understand what you're saying. And because it is so deliberately stylized I think I have more of a chance of liking that I did with Troy which was playing the story too straight. If I accept that it isn't supposed to be real, then I'll probably enjoy it just for the story and the dramatic way it's told (and yeah, the thighs and bare chests. Bloody good looking cast... :P)
