i finally saw it today (been away) and had to comment! to be honest, i'm still feeling a little lightheaded from seeing all that manflesh! i've really never quite seen anything like it. persie, at one point i found myself giggling because it was just such a fangirl's wet!dream! the (male) friend i saw it with was all "now i know why your were sooo hot to see this!" i was all "shut it and enjoy the nipples!" zach clearly likes prominent nipples on his women...and, really, who doesn't? *smirks*
i just wanted to take a moment to say god bless the casting director, the costume designer and the makeup artist who designed the body makeup (rippling abs anyone?) *wheezes*
gerry, of course, was just gorgeous (those marvelous thighs *quivers*). and who knew the wenham could look like that? i must say that i came away totally enamored of michael fassbender (fuuuck - that scene where he is airborne? christ on a cracker!) where is all the stelios/astinos slash? *wails* and as for rodrigo...he was just so deliciously pervy!
really, i haven't seen this much eye-candy in a film...um, ever. lotr and bhd has the casts, but defininitely lacked that all-important factor...wait for it...dude-ity! (been dying to use that).
apart from the nekkidness, it was pretty much what i expected - not oscar material, but interesting to see the technical aspects. thought while some of it didn't work, in most places the look was very cool and i dug all the super-slow/stop-motion. and they were certainly true to the graphic novel.
now i'm off to change my panties (again!). *winks*
